The new owner of Revolution Cycling is as passionate about bikes as he is about customer service. Russell has been riding since he was a small boy, when he would typically disappear with his two sisters for a full days bike ride around the country lanes of Britain. He got into serious cycling when mountain biking first came onto the scene in the early 1990’s, back in the days when suspension forks were “the” upgrade.
When a few mates started buying road bikes for some extra training, this soon took over as his main focus and still is today. Russell is an enthusiastic follower of the sport of cycling, and a racing member of the Sunshine Coast Cycling Club. Now the passion is truly a family affair, with his two children racing as juniors for the Sunshine Coast Cycling Club. You’ll often see the whole family, including his wife Kathryn, out training and Cycling the Revolution.
